Unique Feet Pedorthics, Inc. is a professional foot health service specializing in footwear and foot orthotics for feet problems.

PEDORTHICS (ped-or'thiks) is the design, manufacture, modification and fit of footwear, including foot orthoses, to alleviate foot problems caused by disease, overuse, congenial defect or injury.  

 What is a Pedorthist?
A Board-Certified Pedorthist is an individual who has studied foot anatomy and pathology, biomechanics, shoe construction and modification, foot orthoses fabrication and materials, footwear fitting, and patient/practice management, and who abides by BCP's Code of Ethics outlining responsibilities to the patient, the physician, the public and the profession. For C. Peds, hands-on training in the field is also part of their learning process.
The Certified Pedorthist is an essential professional in foot health care! The Certified Pedorthist works in conjunction with physicians and other allied health professionals such as orthotists, prosthetists, physical therapists, athletic trainers, and nurses in the "team approach to foot health care."

Unique Feet Pedorthics, Inc. has earned the status of being an Accredited Facility by the Board for Certification in Pedorthics (BCP is an independent certification body recognized by the National Commission for certifying Agencies (http://www.cpeds.org/). Under the BCP guidelines, an accredited facility must adhere to strict regulations that will be of benefit to the needs of the patients.

This accredited facility can be trusted to:

• Have a Certified Pedorthist (C. Ped.) on staff.
• Maintain a significant inventory of depth footwear.
• Have the resources necessary to cast and dispense custom molded shoes and custom molded foot orthoses.
• Maintain a system of their patient's records.

When you utilize a BCP accredited facility you will have peace of mind in knowing that you or your patients will be treated by a professional, in a professional setting.
